You are about to embark on planning one of the most beautiful events in your life - a celebration of your love by way of a wedding, renewal of vows or commitment ceremony. Your intention to declare your love for each other as part of a formalized ceremony is worthy of careful planning to ensure that it is “perfect” for you both. In conjunction with the right officiant, you can ensure that this planning is a pleasurable, personal and stress free experience. A selection of vows are available to choose from or alternatively, you may wish to consider writing and including your own unique vows as part of your service.

An officiant’s role is to provide personal and professional guidance to ensure your wedding will be delivered in a warm, relaxed and sincere manner. Above all, your ceremony should be a reflection of your feelings for each other, your shared dreams and hopes for the future and commemorate the start of a lifetime of love together. I can promise you a beautiful, romantic and meaningful service.

About Me:
Although I was born in Australia, my heritage is of Irish/English decent. My accent could be best described as “Australian/English” which most couples seem to enjoy and appreciate. In my early career as a television travel reporter and writer, I was privileged to experience many different cultures. The highlight of my career was a private interview with Mother Teresa in Calcutta the year before her passing. This was an amazing and enriching experience. Today, I concentrate on performing personalized ceremonies, where I am honored to be asked to share in the joy of celebrating the union of two people deeply in love. My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and I consider him to be the love of my life, my very best friend and my confidant.

Marriage License:
It is recommended that you apply for your Marriage License from the County Clerk at least one month prior to the event. You will need proof of identification and proof of your age. In the case of any previous marriages, you must show proof that you are no longer legally married. The Marriage License is only valid for 90 days. Currently the fee for a Marriage License in Los Angeles County is $70.

I Provide:

  • A choice and variety of magical ceremonies – with options to include your own material, family members and ceremonial rituals, e.g. Candle Lighting Ceremony, Wine Ceremony.
  • A meeting with you both personally to discuss all details prior to the Rehearsal or Wedding.
  • Advice and guidance during the planning of the ceremony if required.
  • A beautiful Wedding Certificate.
  • Availability to cordless lapel microphone (nominal fee).
  • Availability to hire my beautiful garden (for small weddings only at a nominal fee).
