Calamigos at the Los Angeles Equestrian Centers offers a secluded and beautiful venue centrally located on the north face of historic Griffith Park. The scenic Santa Monica Mountains provide a pastoral backdrop to this unique location. With its impressive ballrooms and garden ceremony sites, Calamigos at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center offers accommodations from 75 to 500 guests for weddings and receptions. The Hunt Field Cottage and Garden Courtyard is fast becoming the number one choice for bridal parties in Southern California. A horse-drawn carriage takes you to the door. Ancient sycamore trees and fields carpeted with lush green grass surround you, transforming your wedding into an enchanted memory that will last forever. Calamigos at the Los Angles Equestrian Center has designed a fully coordinated event package for your convenience. Our Reception package features… Your choice of a sit-down or buffet meal by our in house caterer. Room rental, self parking, full service staff, cake cutting, Chivari chairs, choice of various colored house linens, dance floor and set-up are included. Three-hour bar including Champagne and toast, house wines, a variety of light and regular beers, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea. House or Premium spirit upgrades are available as well. (Additional hours available for a nominal fee). Ceremony Accommodations… Our facility offers two beautiful outdoor ceremony sites. ~The Little White House ceremony site features a private, tree encompassed courtyard. Lined with roses and designed to enhance your wedding with its natural garden setting. ~The Equestrian Terrace ceremony site offers a delicate atmosphere not unlike a secret garden. Enhanced by its jasmine-covered trellis, rock waterfall and redwood gazebo, the Terrace offers a natural and organic milieu for your special day. Each includes the following: Wedding Coordination Services (day of event), Private dressing room for the bride (2 hours prior to the ceremony) and a half hour wedding rehearsal. For the ceremony, we provide a white runner, garden chairs, gift table and easel. A horse drawn carriage for the bridal couple is available for an additional fee. Ceremony Fee not applicable during off -season (January, February, March) Wedding Reception-Only & off-season events require wedding coordination services Timing… The Wedding Package is based on a five-hour event time for receptions and a six-hour event time for ceremony and reception. Morning/Afternoon events take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday evening events begin after 6 p.m. and Sunday events start after 5 p.m. from May to October. |
